Science

My name is Kaur Alasoo. I am currently studying Systems Biology at Aalto University in Finland. Outside of school obligations, I am working in the Computational Systems Biology group. In July 2010, I defended my Bachelor’s thesis in computer science at the University of Tartu, where I also used to be member of the BIIT bioinformatics research group. My main research interests are machine learning, data mining and bioinformatics, but I am also starting to discover the beauty of (molecular) biology.
From April to August 2010 I was intern in Schneider Group at EMBL-Heidelberg, where my task was adding Wikipedia to Reflect.
You can find me at LinkedIn, Facebook, Slideshare, Twitter or just send an e-mail.
