Here are some of the projects that I have been working on and that I think are worth sharing.
Home Reading Helper
Home Reading Helper is a small dictionary application in which you can search for words, mark the ones that are interesting and later save the selected words as a text file. Currently included languages are English-Estonian and English-German.
WordOCR – A Naïve OCR System
How hard can it be to make a computer to recognize text from pictures? As a part of Data Mining course, we implemented a small program that extracted letters from pictures and then recognised them. This project was done together with Jaana.
